transit speed limiter

i have a transit with a factory fitted speed limiter and want to know if any one can tell me how to remove it or raise the limit with out having to take it to fords.

I believe it's an IDS only job...not entirely sure though? It doesn't take long at all, 10-15 mins should see it OK.
