Just wondered if any of you have got either the current 197 or previous 175 PS Mondeo TDCI 2.2. Looks a fine car and a good second hand buy, but is it any good?

Absolutely fantastic cars lovely to drive & overall pretty reliable some bits are expensive (like clutches with dual mass flywheels) but no more than any other modern car

got the 175 version pulls like a train does like to eat front tyres approx 12k but properly rotating them sorts that out other than that found that if the contact on the nsf door (main plug) comes loose it can stop the central locking on the nsr door from working. It swallows just about everything I have ever wanted it too including multiple motorbike engines and car parts and my mate (for a laugh)
