Escort mk 2 forums, owners clubs ???

I wonder if any body can point me in the direction of either any popular forums or owners clubs around the Stansted, Cambridge or surrounding areas for Escort mark 2s.

I rent a workshop which has a couple of them stuck in one corner, sort of like a barn find. I want to approach the person I rent from with the idea of getting rid of them but I have no idea what they're worth, probably scrap value. What I'd like to do is talk to someone who knows or maybe someone who would make an offer for both & remove the bloody things from my workshop. I don't think the owner will just scrap them but I think it will help if they were going to go to a good home.

Any mark 2 shell, two door variant, is worth over a grand just for a conversion into a group 4 rally shell ie rusty but still salvagable.

Thanks. Unfortunately they are both four door bog standards although one does have a vinyl roof that does look in good condition.

2 or 4 door?
engine size?
manual?
condition / rust?
dry stored?
are they running?

I might be interested in making an offer on both based on what spec they are.

Bit of an update..

It's a long story but basically the woman who owns the cars is under the impression that they are worth about 900% more each than they actually are, so unfortunately they will remain in my way until the owner sees a bit of sense.
