Was driving to work with blower on full yesterday. Went to turn it down to 3 and it just stopped.

Now I am hoping it's just a fuse for a quick fix but have no idea where the fusebox is and which fuse it would be (and am struggling to find a map on Google)

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

If it's not a fuse can you give me some ideas what to look at

Perfect time of year for it too rolleyes

I have a 2000 1.8 and I'm the same as you. Don't work on any numbers, all my fuse's are fine. Not been working for about a year now. The fuse box is under the glove box, just open the glove box and push the walls of the glove box in and it will go right down and you will see the fuse's. Someone on here said its a cheap job but I'm just lazy. Hope this helps

Cheers guys. Was great fun clearing ice off the inside of the windscreen this morning, and just to add to the fun my handbrake cable snapped last night. Fortunately I was still in the car having just parked up so was able to brick the wheels on the driveway.

Don't you just love cheap old snotters hehe At least she is only a keep-me-going until the divorce is finalised and i can save up for something a bit newer thumbup

If you still can't get the fuses numbers my Focus book says in engine bay
  1. 64 - 30AMP for heater blower motor
Other culprit could be the heater resistor pack on the heater motor (behind glovebox)

If that doesn't work then I'm not sure, someone else might know.

Cheers,

Ben.
