Has anyone got any experience of the Mountune MR375 kit on a mk2 Focus RS? I guess they go quite well. hehe

Am I the only one thinking the claimed 5 sec 0-60 on this kit is wishful thinking. All that torque through FWD on a heavy car?

It'd probably do it with zero mechanical sympathy, but it would be quite tricky! My Dad had a standard one back when they were new and it'd easily spin away all its power without any bother at all. With another 75+bhp it'll be mental. 406 ft lb of torque is insane, though. For me the extra financial outlay of the Mountune kit is well worth it compared to the other ways of achieving similar power outputs - it's so much neater and would be easier to sell on.

No experiance of the 375 kit but ive seen the mountune 350 & also the bits on the st225 & fiesta st & they always make the right power & are very well develoed but they do come at a premium,

You will lose the warranty cover you get on the 350 kit with the 375.

The Mountune exhaust for the rs also looks fantastic

Theres a few guys on the focusrsoc.com site that have the MR375 kit & all say that it's an awesome kit & the car easily handles it. One member has a car with 460 BHP, around that number the car starts to struggle!

Heard good things about it. Although with the fact the warranty is out the window I'd be more angled toward someone like SCC, with their Revo mapping and cheaper prices. Horses for courses however.

So I hear , but then it's a nice car so I didn't expect it to sit there long even at that price smile

I'm going to head down the route of 400 bhp when the car is a little older as I feel the car will take it wink
