09 Mondeo LH light issue.
Discussion
Of late, we kept getting a passenger side brake light bulb fault so replaced the bulb and all good.
Tonight the two rear passenger lights and front passenger sidelight all went out so I suspected this wan't a bulb issue. I checked the bulb on the opposite side and it worked so somewhere there is something thatt somehow controls the nearside passenger side/rear lights. Handbook says there is no dedicated fuse for it.
I then checked the brake lights were working on both sides and they were so turned off the ignition and turned the sidelights on again and presto, all the lights work again.
Is there something sticking or is this going to be a Belgian electrical gremlin starting out on a new career?

The body control module reads the current flow through the lighting circuits. If there is no flow then the most likley cause is a bulb has blown, this displays a message on the dash. After changing the bulb the module sometimes needs reset back to its parameters. Undo the battery for 5 mins and reconnect. Doing this should solve the issue.
