Focus 1.8d clutch

My old dads had to give up driving and has asked me to sell his 10 year old diesel Focus. Driving it home yesterday it felt like clutch was slipping at times, so my question is is it much of a job (I'm old skool rear wheel drive stuff no problem but not too familiar with fwd) ?

Cars pretty tidy but at that age still not worth a lot so just after asn idea of whether it's a two hour or all day job?

im about to change the clutch on my st170 focus and am planning on dropping both engine and box out, you can do it by taking just the box out but can be a pain to align the box to the engine
