Ford S-Max 2.0eco boost
Discussion
Did you go and look at it then? How was it?
My wife has a 2011 S-Max 2.0 Ecoboost 240. It's quite quick for such a big car, and it handles pretty well too, plus the dual clutch Powershift box is a joy to use in manual mode. It does sometimes hunt between 1st and 2nd at really low speeds when in auto mode, but I'm hoping a re-map might smooth things out while also upping the power slightly. According to the trip computer my wife has so far managed to average 32.2mpg, which is quite impressive for an 1800kg petrol driven MPV. Oh, and it looks like they eat front tyres. Ours are down to 4mm after 12,500 miles, but then again both my wife and I might have had a hand in that
