Mk1 RS running costs.

Hi folks,

Thinking of picking up a Mk1 RS.
I'm just wondering what the a realistic tank range is on a long journey, what size is the tank and a realisitc MPG? I generally just cruise at 60-70 on long motorway journeys (i'm in no hurry) lol.

If just cruising long distance 280-300 miles is about right from a 55 ltr tank I generally get 220-250 with every day driving inc a country lane commute.
I found the mpg actually improved slightly after modification & also it is better when on v power (has to run high octane)than anything else
