Righty, looks like I'm stuck with the C-max another year untill I win the lottery and buy a Bugatti, so some cheeper changes need to be made.

I've bought a new stereo and all the leads to replace the OEM stereo, but whilst it's appart I may as well do something about the rest of the wiring and the door speekers.

Currently:
1) Rear speekers dont do anything at all
2) Front door spepkers intermittently cut out, usualy solved by banging the door card/dash board with a fist.
3) Sound quality is crap

I think 1) might be solved with a new head unit as they worked before the garrage replaced it under warrenty with a spare one, but I didn't notice that they didn't work untill I gave someone a lift. 3 might be improved as well, but probably not by much.

How to solve 2? Is there a likely point that the wire's come appart of a connectors bust? Seems to be a fairly common problem on Fords as the missus' fiesta does exactly the same.

And if I'm going to the effort of sorting wires out, I may as well replace the front speekers. I've heard they're not standard sizes so does anyone know of any good replacements? Or would a breakers be a good start for some speeekrs from a titanium spec model?
