ford fiesta mk5 blacktop 2.0 need help with gearbox

hi all new to this recently got a mk5 fiesta with a black top 2.0 engine thats running a 1.3 gearbox crazy thing anyways is there any better gearbox i would see more power from as theres nowt in it between my mates vts n this n its sickening also my friend had 1 with a 1,8 escort van diesel gearbox said it was a rocket?
