Supercharged 2.8i V6 Cologne help...

Hi to all..Recently i purchased a sprintex supercharger S102 kit for my car which came off of a sierra XR4i, Its a straight bolt on kit and all the bits i need are there but my concern is that will the distributor that came with it be adequate or is there a better ignition system that i could use?..The engine is going to be rebuilt to race spec with a blower profiled cam..Any help appreciated..Thanks..Ziga

Ditributors wont give the best timing for getting the best from the engine. I would hazard a guess at using an Emerald system and coil pack to run this , as you can have better control on the ignition and is quite easy to set up, although mapping will be needed to set it up finally.

Omex technology do a range of stand alone ecu systems. Not cheap but highly recommended.
