HOT + terminal

Hi All,

I have become aware that my positive (+) terminal on my Focus 1.8 tdci 2008 is HOT. I have had a quick google and done the following:

Cleaned the terminals and the wiring loom that goes from the battery to the alternator starter motor ETC as the resistance can cause the heat.

I have changed the battery with a different one.

I have disconnected the battery while the car is running to test the alternator. All seems ok.

I have checked the charge rate which is ok.

There are no ECU fault codes!

does anyone have any ideas ? or had the same issue.

Change the lead, I have had a faulty lead in a car, which the cable to clamp was breaking down and causing problems.

That would of been me next move although I have checked the resistance.
