MK 2 Focus Fuel Pump !

Hi Guys,

I have a problem with my TDCI 1.8 focus. I believe the issue might be the fuel pump reason being the fuel rail pressure drops when i accelerate.

I can accelerate to about 2500/3000 rpm in 5th ok and after this the rail pressure drops from 18,000 ish to 4,000 ish and the car will shudder like its stalling.

Does anyone have any input that might confirm my theory ?
