Escort RS Turbo Series 2 - Classic Insurance?
Discussion
After regretting selling my Series 2 I've always wanted to get another one. Now I'm in a position to get one.
Does the the Series 2 qualify for classic insurance? Currently own and 1992 MX5 which does so no need for an additional set of ncb.
If you have one on classic insurance, who is it with and would you recommend them?
Cheers,
Matt.

It should qualify for classic based on the age of the car, and so long as you agree to things like limited mileage, no commuting to work you should get a decent premium, as that's how i did my old Series 2 a couple of years ago, and now insure my 205 GTI in the same way
Try insurers like Need 2 Insure & Greenlight as they specialise in RS models as well as the classic policy side of things
My 205 GTI is with Greenlight & it only costs me £250 on a fully comp policy, 32y/o ltd mileage, etc. The Series 2 was insured through N2I, as is my current Focus RS Mk1, and again i paid circa £250 fully comp for a classic policy on that as well
