2012 fiesta ipod

Hi, am looking at a 2012 fiesta zetec s. Alot of car's come with bluetooth/usb connectivity. I was wondering does the usb give full ipod functionality? Reason I ask is that I listen to an ipod classic with c.3000 songs, and I wondered if I can shuffle all those songs or is there a max limit (ie.999) that it will read? Any help would be appreciated.
