Guys,
Really loosing the love for my Mondeo Estate.
I puchased it when it was 6 months old 60 plate.
It's the 1.8 zetec sport - sat nav, 17's and f&r parking sensors.
When it went for the first service it had belts & pulleys replaced under warranty.
Since the its had DMF, clutch, new drivers seat! And today been told the drive shaft support bearings are shot!!!
To say I'm hacked off is an understatement. It's done just shy of 30k and is in no way used or abused.
To get the seat replaced took 3 weeks of arguing with customer services and the dealer - rear support spring broke and was sticking out the back of the seat!

And now as mentioned, 4 weeks after having the DMF replaced the shaft bearings are shot in the 'box.

Am I just unlucky or are they all like this???
Could the bearing issue have been caused when they carried out the dmf/clutch work?
Will i need front geometry setting up?

Thanks

Chris

The driveshaft support bearing actually supports the intermediate shaft (only 1 on the car), behind the box on the outside. Not unusual for it to go, but geometry won't need doing again once changed. Bearing is @£75 plus fitting.

Cheers guys.
Support bearing changed and all is quiet again.
Just a bit nervous as I came out of the company car scheme because I couldn't get a decent sized estate and have sunk a considerable chunk of savings and my car allowance in to this car.
The warranty is up in September and I honestly don't know what to do.
Have had a Focus previously with no issues, and my Dad's had a couple of fords with no problems.
