Mondeo ST TDCI engine noise under boost

Hi all..

I'm about to buy a st tdci on a 06 plate.
Took this car on a test drive and loved it but while driving it i really noticed that pulling away hard i could hear quite loudly in the car what sounds like the exhaust !
The noise gets loud when I think the turbo is fully opened up..

Any thoughts ?

Pulls like train though, no loss of power at all
