Mk3 mondeo estate camping idea's

Hi guys I recently acquired a mondeo estate mk3 03 plate 2.0 TDCI which is an awesome car and drives perfectly!
However as its coming up to summer all my mates and me go up to a place where's there's beaches a plenty and more bars than you can shake a stick at BUT we all camp in tents and I'm quite f'ing sick of freezing my nads off and waking up hungover and soaked cause the tents leaked!
So I have an idea about folding the back seats flat and using the rear as a bed etc but I don't know if anyone's done this before and if they have can you upload pictures?!
This was an idea thought up at the pub so haven't gone into much detail about how I'm actually gonna do it all idea's are greatly appreciated !!
