transit traction

Anyone here own a recent Transit swb? I bought a new one 2-3 years ago and from day one the traction was appalling. I've never bothered to speak to Ford about it but perhaps I should have done. Is it just my one? I've had other vans of the same size and they've been great in all weathers, whatever the load too. This Transit is crap whether it's empty or well loaded and yesterday in the tiniest bit of slush on the road I just sat wheel spinning. I seriously wouldn't consider buying another one in the future if they're all like this.

Fwd or rwd? I've got an '02 rwd and it's great fun in the snow, but I do have to try hard to get the back end out round roundabouts in the dry though...sorry that probably doesn't help? :-)

Sounds like your lack of traction is fun, but mine is fwd so just crap!

Mine is poor with 120 ps engine, it eats front tyres unless you drive carefully, even with traction control on
