Changing Oil - Q 2008 Focus

Hi,

Just bought Ford Focus 1.6L 2008 -

What Oil should i use?
How much do i need?
Is the filter under the engine? (on my merc its at the top)
Is there an under tray fitted to the car? (its garaged so not had a chance to check)

I was going to use a pump to suck out the oil..

Any help appreciated.

And yes it does have an undertray, secured with screws, but no, don't use a pump, just undo the sump plug.

5w30, about 4.5l

Sump plug is at the rear of the sump, 13mm. It can be a real pig to get off if the previous owner over tightened it, so have a breaker bar to hand. The filter is to the front, easily got off, but it is slightly recessed, so a claw type filter wrench is easier to use than a chain type

It's a very easy job btw
