Fiesta Mk7 water leak

I discovered the driver side footwells front and back were wet on my wife's 58 reg Fiesta, and a quick google search reveals it to be a possible water leak coming in from around the bonnet hinge area. This seems to be a known fault with these cars, although the garage we bought it from dried it out, in the recent rain it is wet again. I just nee dto find the source of the leak, but looking in that area I can't find anything. Does anyone have any info relating to this at all? A diagram would be good.

My last Fiesta Zetec S has the same issue. Will Post a pic of where the dealers sealed up when its daylight.

Pic is looking down the back of the wing.They sealed the gap where the pen points.

In the driver foot well on the right side when you take the trim out there is a hole in the body. I could get a torch and mirror and see the drips.

If Ford are reading this. This quality issue on my First Fiesta make me want a good discount when buying.

I'll seal that bit up, and then remove the interior (drivers seat and carpet sections and dry it out and see what happens.

Very poor I have to say.

Sealed that part, dried out the drivers side interior/floor/underlay, and so far despite the heavy rain today, stayed dry, so far.
