Turbocharging duratec 2.5L ST200, what breaks at 400 hp

Hi!

I am from sweden, i know everything anyone need to know about turbocharging.

But, i dont know anything about this engine when turboed. How much does the standard rods and pistons handle without going to bits?

I will use MS3 as ecu, E85 fuel, custom intake in topclass, extractor exhaust manifold and probably a switzer S366 turbo or Holset HX40. Ofcousre suitable fulesupply and that.

This is not the first time i turbocharge an NA engine, i got 465BHP from my unopened bmw M50 engine on the first try.

Please help me out with what parts i shall have a look on and what the standard internals can manage.

The best place to ask is in the Noble sub-forum. I believe the M12 used a biturbo version of the 2.5 and 3.0 Duratecs and put out the sort of power you are talking about. No point re-inventing the wheel when all the work has been done for you
