Hi all,

My girlfriend is looking to get a new car. She's seen at 59 plate focus st-2 today that she has put a deposit on after having a test drive.

I will go with her when she goes to pay the balance (it's only on hold at the moment and the deposit is refundable from the dealership).

Is there anything I need to take note of or check. Any common problems that I need to check on.

The car has done just over 30k miles, when are big services due etc?

Thanks all

Mine is a 2007 '07 on nearly 34k miles. Ive had it 4 years & had no issues at all & no big bills (only for 4 tyres).

The cars 2nd service (should be @ 25k miles) is a brake fluid change & 3rd service (should be @ 37.5k miles) should be new spark plugs but they arnt expensive at all either. My last 2 were £143 & £178 (standard services). Next one is next week.

The ST2 wont have leather seats, but a nasty cloth interior & a single disk CD player (6 disk on ST3).
