Came back to car all windows down?

My wife has a 2011 Ford Grand C-Max which a brillant car, we went to the theatre and came back to the car which had all the windows down?

The car is due an service have anybody came across this fault before? Or any ideals why happen?

When you returned to it was it locked or unlocked? The latter would suggest global closing had been used.

My gf's dad had a similiar thing with his astra. Turned out he tends to sit on his keys...
