2011 Fiesta radio not working - freezes when turned on

When you turn it on, it freezes, either on the Ford Audio 1 Hour Mode if the ignition is off, or Ford Audio Welcome screen if it's on.
Very occasionally, it will flicker on for a few seconds and start playing, but it will then freeze again and go quiet. It displays the radio station it was on, but it doesn't respond to any commands, such as volume or frequency scan.
Anyone seen this before? My next step is to find and pull the fuse to reset it, but since I'm guessing I'll need to contact a dealer to get a code for it if I do this, I just wanted to ask around a bit first.
