Hi all,
my wife and I have recently bought ourselves some bikes and I'm looking at getting a carrier on our ST220 so we can take them further afield.
My initial thought was to go for a towbar mounted carrier but after making enquiries it seems the ST220 wasn't homologated for towing and so I can't get a towbar fitted frown
I really don't fancy a roof mounted carrier so that leaves a rear mounted one but I can't find any concrete details as to which ones (if any) will fit correctly. I know the mark 4 mondeos can't use the rear mounted ones due to their bumpers being very soft but after having a quick feel the rear bumper on the ST220 does't seem hugely solid either?
Has anyone on here actually got a rear mounted carrier they can confirm definitely fits and would recommend?

Many Thanks,

Ross

Wasn't there a thread on here about a bloke who owned a Merc ML63 that wasn't homologated either.... didn't stop him fitting one
