ford focus water in passenger footwell

My misses has a ford focus mk1 and its started to leak water into the passenger foot well.
Any ideas for a easy and hopefully cheap fix.
I think it may be coming from the mesh in front of the windscreen scuttle.

Your pretty much spot on the cover its over the pollen filter & often leaks the give away is if you take it off you will have a soaking wet pollen filter.

Yes sorry
A new seal & clips plus a pollen filter to replace the sopping wet one just take care when removing / refitting as its easy to break the scuttle cover & if not properly refitted it will just leak again

Could be worse. Mk2 fills it plug wells and courses massive issues.

1 screw & a few clips you need to be gentle though as it can be broken quite easily
