Ford Mondeo Lcd screen U/S

Hi
I have a 2012 Mondeo with a broken/fuzzy LCD display on the dash.It is covered on the warranty but the garage tell me that when its fixed it may not register the correct mileage!!??..But not too worry,they say!!!...Heard that before from garages!!!....

Has anyone else had this problem and if so what was the outcome?

Ford dashes can't have the mileage altered so if its replaced the mileage will start from 0 again
As long as this is recorded properly in the service history I can't see it causing an issue

It only seems to be the LCD screen itself gone,but apparently they have to change the whole dash!!!..

ill try to dicont your battery to see if that fixs it leve dicont for about 10 to 15 minutes as seen same problem before make sure u have your radio code
