For those running 2.0 ecoboost s-max.....mpg?

Been the odd thread a while back about these.
Just wondering how things are going now? I do 7-800 mile a week but really fancy the petrol over the diesel in sport X guise.
I'm looking for 35 mpg to really feel a saving over my current Pathfinder.
I reckon the interior space should be similar....I need a wide and tall opening at the hatch plus a long load area. I'm thinking the better drive of the s max should offset the worse bad weather ability compared to my 4x4. I often visit customers out in the sticks which in bad weather can be fun!! But I'm sure I could manage.

My wife has the 240bhp 2.0 ecoboost engine in her S-Max (with Powershift 'box), and in the 18 months we've had it we've averaged a pretty consistent 31-32mpg. I've managed to top 35mpg on a couple of occasions, and even hit 40mpg once crawling along behind a really slow car near Aviemore, but I'd say an average mpg of 35 is going to be nigh on impossible.
Our family bus is the 140 diesel with the 18" ST wheels. Generally averages about 36 mpg with mostly town driving. When we take it away it tends to go up to about 45 mpg over the long run and that's 5 up and the boot loaded to the roof.
Power delivery is pretty awfull though, there is a huge flat spot as you try to pull away then it boosts and suddenly you're moving. The inlaw's Focus does the same thing. Other that that it's a good drive and can be hustled along far quicker than it has any right to. Don't know if this helps at all.
