Led / Cree bulbs (for mk1 focus)

Hi guys
Looking to upgrade the bulbs in the car and have looked mainly into these cree bulbs that are floating about. Just wanted opinions from anyone that has these or SMD bulbs to give some feedback if thats ok? For the headlights i was looking at the Halfords ultra brilliance range as they seem to be greatly reviewed and give off a crisp white light. I haven't decided on a HID kit as it appears since the headlight is a reflective type then the beam will be all over the shop?
They also do the halfords advanced 239 bulbs for interior light/number plate but again not sure if they are any good or not.
