C-Max - installing electric seats?
Discussion
I'm wanting to install leather seats in my wife's C-Max - fed up of cleaning them for her. I found some that are from the same age car (2004 into a 2006), but the leather seats are electric and the current seats are manual.
Can I fit them without fiddling with any electrics? I know there's electrics going into the current manual seats for the airbags via a yellow connector - does the electrics from the seat movement come from that connector or is her current car not capable of running electric seats without some form of fiddling?
Cheers

Should be simple, Any seat modules would be on the seats, all that would be required is positive supply thats switched, so it goes off with the ignition, and a ground. if they are from a c-max they will drop in, you may even find your c-max has the wiring, being leather and electric, they will be heated also.

Cheers. Well they arrived yesterday, but the mother of all hangovers means they probably won't move until tomorrow, plus I want to give them a deep clean and feed before I install them.
I did pull one of the current seats out to check the connections before I bought them and concluded all should be ok.
Out of interest, do you know how I could get the heated seats working - would buying a switch from a breaker work or would I need to run any wires? I'm not that bothered, but if it was just a case of installing the switch then it would seem rude not to get them operational.
Cheers. A quick bit of Googling suggests it's a non starter. The cars will leather interior have a different dashboard and the heated seat switches are built in, so I'd imagine retro fitting them would need a new loom and bodging some switches.
I'm sure the wife will survive without heated seats.
