Fiesta Zetec S tdci performance upgrades

My sister owns a 2007 Fiesta Zetec S tdci and has asked if I can look into performance upgrades. Being a tdci I was looking to find out what options we have.

People have made then make around 150bhp; but to get it Running properly it was a bit of a bodge (tdoc forums I think the guy was on).

A good remap will allow the car to make between 115 and 125bhp with a lot more torque. This is probably the easiest and most reliable solution

I had a feeling a remap would be the way forward. Is there anything else that should be done at the same time e.g. panel filter, intercooler?

The intercooler is pretty good as standard, I have seen ones with big intercoolers however unless you are going mad on mods I cant see the benefit personally. If its too big it creates too much lag.

I had a panel filter on my old one, and in the summer when very hot used to suffer from head soak and it would feel down on power. Whether they are related I'm not sure.
