Ford door ajar switch

My old Mk1 Mondeo has the door ajar warning on, the switch is buggered. The drivers side went last year, I just shorted the wires. The actual switch has 93BG14018BA written on it. Seems a dealer would relieve me of over £40 for one which is silly money (would double the value of the car if I fix both!). Anyone know if the switch or something that works can be had elsewhere? I've found a couple on eBay but it still comes in at £45 for a pair. Of course I could just short the passenger side but I like things working and this car WILL make 20 years of age
