Ford Anglia 105E
Discussion
A brake servo will not improve braking power, it will reduce pedal pressure for a given level of braking.
From memory Anglias were never badly braked by the standards of the day. Certainly the brakes would lock the wheels on the current tyres. Very often a decent rebuild & check over will improve things no end. Yes they can be improved by going discs on the front & bigger rear drums, but it is a slippery slope & once you start modifying the car where do you stop.

^^^ +1. I've had a few of 105Es and the standard brakes (drums all round) were fine if well maintained/adjusted. I had a couple of modified ones with Classic front struts (ie with discs) and servo and braking was better, but it's quite a lot of work to do the upgrade and the originality is then lost. I'd stick with the original set up unless you're planning a whole lot of other mods eg bigger engine etcFrom memory Anglias were never badly braked by the standards of the day. takes me back learnt to drive in a 1550 (lotus lump) anglia stage 2 etc etc ok classic front struts yes gives a natural neg camber, servo with them yes choice of diff ? 3.9 or 4.1 3.9 gives faster pull 4.1 faster top end easy to lower the rear and the front if desired fit a 1500 in her 2000e gear box fun all the way lots of rust aresa tho
