2009 Focus Dash Information Display gone off, any ideas?

Just a quick one for any of the technical people on here.
Running a 2009 1.6 Petrol focus at the moment, the central information display between the speedo and rev counter has randomly stopped working, it still lights up as in illuminates but does not display any information.
The speedo, rev counter etc etc all work fine so the car is drive able but the information display is handy for any other information.
Any ideas as to how to fix it or at least what to start looking at as potential problem sources?
