Hi,

I have a Focus Mk3 Ecoboost 125ps. Decided to buy a Superchips MAP for it and it really has turned it into something almost quite pokey when on boost. No way does it feel anything like its small displacement.

According to Torque pro it is holding around 22.6psi of boost.

When in the higher gears (4th, 5th and 6th) from around 2400-3000rpm I can hear a noise coming from the car and feel a vibration. The car does seem to be pulling well still, a lot stronger than stock. Is this the wastegate opening and closing to stop the boost climbing too high? The car is completely stock apart from a remap.

It sounds exactly like the fluttering noise in this video, but the noise is completely gone before 3000rpm, obviously well before a gear change.

Thanks!
