Hello all, hope someone can help me out.

I'm clearing out a garage/workshop for a mate of mine who's dad's died and have come across a Sierra Cosworth 15" lattice rim in very good nick. It came off his dad's Sapphire Cosworth and he's no idea how much it's worth.

I've got it on ebay for him but also on facebook motors. A guy keeps mithering him wanting to give him £10 for it and I've told him it's worth more than that scrap.

He's asking several times a day now but I really don't want him to give it away for less than he needs to as it (weirdly) holds some 'sentimental value' so he tells me..... PLUS it's a good rim, no chunks missing or dings. Got a couple of minor scratches to the surface and the lacquer's peeling at the edges and it's only the rim - no tyre or centre but it'll refurb quite nicely for someone.

To be honest I've told him if he doesn't get decent money for it I'll turn it into a table for him but I'd like to know if it's worth £10 or £100 first!

Thanks in advance

Coffee table sounds about right.

No real value as such, whole sets for sale for £100 to £150 on facebook pages and probably ebay too if you take a look.

I have a whole set here that will be coming off mine this week and they'll get fired in a corner, less hassle than selling

Sounds like it's going to be a coffee table then!

Cheers chaps, I didn't honestly think it was worth much but I'd have been furious if he'd have sold it to someone for a tenner when it was worth a ton!

It'll go well with the Mercedes V8 coffee table I'm making......if that ever gets finished!

Yeah the Lattice wheel has never been worth a great deal in the used market.

Generally it's the RS500 BBS, optional Softlines, EsCos 5 spokes, etc, that are worth big £££.
