1st annual service is due

My MK3 Focus ST3 is due a first service so it will be going to a Ford stealer. Can anybody recommend a good dealer near Basingstoke? I don't mind travelling further afield. How much should I expect to pay?

I do not have a recommendation locally for you, but anything under £150 is acceptable.

I think you might struggle to find a main dealer that charges less than £150 for a first service on a Mk.3 ST, so don't be surprised if it is more than this.

My local dealer wants £295 - just picking myself up off the floor. It's only an oil/filter change.

I would love to know why it costs £60 more to do a first service on an ST compared with any other current Focus model in the range.
I know all dealers charge more for the ST, but I've often wondered how this can be justified?

On another note do you have to have a Ford lease car serviced with Ford?
I seem to remember a ruling where you could use any VAT registered garage as long as they used the correct parts.
