Cheap ST24

..just after a bit of feedback on the ST24..

Aside from the obvious rust problems, what do you look for on a cheap oldie? Do they consume lots of oil? Do they have DMFs? Good to drive? I am always on the look out for an entertaining cheap family car and have noticed a couple of cheap ones locally. worth looking at?

Mine has never used oil, no DMF and they drive well IMO. Head gaskets are known to go. Aside from rust you are looking at worn suspension (rear drop links, front lower arms, anti roll bar bushes).
