MK3.5 Focus ST

I'm currently looking at getting a Foc ST.
I've not quite decided on a budget yet, but I have a couple of questions

What are they like to live with and is the Sync 3 worth the extra 500/1k over the older sync 2 cars?

I've just handed my 66 plate ST3 back. Great to drive, excellent seats, roomy enough but I had nothing but grief with Sync 3.

I'm sure there's an update now which would hopefully resolve some of the issues. Handy for Android Auto but even that was a bit temperamental in mine.
