Mustang - SVT or standard

General question for those that might know.
I'm considering a used Ford Mustang S550, and have seen the SVT kit / package mentioned. From what I've read it talks about brakes, ducting, ARBs and the like. I've also seen things mentioned about it being more suited to trackwork.
Any thoughts about SVT equipped cars for daily drivers?
