Fiesta Heater problem

I have a 97 R reg Fiesta 1.25LX. A few months back my heater stopped blowing hot air. I then replaced the heater valve (got it from the internet (International Parts Ltd) - not original Ford). This worked for a couple of days and then started blowing hot air only despite turning the knob to cold. I read in a post that some of the heater valves being sold are faulty. So I sent mine back and they sent me a new one. This also worked for a couple of days and once again blows hot air only.

Could the problem be something else?

Could someone pls put me out of my misery.

Ive just replaced the valve on mine and now have the same problem! did you ever get a fix?

I think the controller is at fault, it seems to be controlling the valve exactly the same whether on hot or cold

i ordered a genuine ford heater valve and problem sorted!

YER MY FIESTA 1.6 ZETEC S HEATER IS UP THE WALL IT ALWAYS STAYES HOT AND WONT GO COLD WHEN I TURN IT, IT DONT SEEN TO DO ANYTHINK I CHECKED FUSES ALL OK BUT I DUNO ANY1 HAVE A IDIEA
