Is that on a run or town, i've owned the car since Nov 06 but it's really the wife and kids runaround so to speak it's 04 plate with only 30k.

Because i only get to drive it now and again i don't get much chance to play with the toys on it but been away on hols a couple of times in it recently and i've been monitoring the mpg.

Had st24 before this and i'm sure it was never good, i must add though since being back at the weekend i did manage to go out in it last night and with the few town miles she has done since it's certainly dropping.

I'm currently showing 22.4, but that's only after a couple of recent long runs on the motorway. It was down to 20ish. I do mostly town driving, but I don't particularly drive with lead feet.

I've said it before, but I think it bears saying again: In return for 20 MPG I would expect another couple of cylinders and another 80 BHP. It's the one major fly in my ST220 ointment.

Steady runs and having some fun wink It's only done 1K miles now though and with each trip the MPG is climbling.

20MPG with stop start town driving is pretty good. athough it still seems quite low-most owners report 24MPG with town driving and 32-34 on M way.Have you had it checked out?

Well, I do wonder if it's related to my noisy exhaust.
