Hi there,

My Fiesta needs it's brake discs replacing, but I was wondering if I could put some larger ones on, then a larger caliper / pad set to increase braking power. Also, how hard is it to bleed the system, as I may have left the lid on the brake fluid reservoir when I pushed the caliper back after fitting new pads frown

Thanks PH smile

I think you'll find you don't need to remove the lid as it is vented. Otherwise there would be a pressure lock and the lid would pop off everytime you use the brakes!!

I have done quite a few 300mm conversions using Ford parts. However this depends on the size of wheels. I doubt you left the brake res cover on as u pushed the piston in, even Arnie would have trouble pushing the piston back with it on.
