Hi

I've just ordered a new Titanium X Mondeo with the sports pack and a couple of other options.

I was just wondering if the stereo displays the track names if the CD is full of MP3's?

My current Vauxhall does and I find it quite a useful feature.

I guess that is a no then biggrin

I for one would be interested to hear all about your new motor when it arrives. If half the reviews I have seen have any truth in them at all then the new Mondeo will be a rather impressive machine.

The touchscreen head unit in my 2004 Mondeo does. I imagine the new one would.

Zad,

Will do when it turns up.

I had the dealer on the phone this morning and it's not going to be ready until Jan '08

Anyone bought or taken delivery of one in the meantime?

Starting a new job next month and considering one of these as a company barge

Steve,

Yes I got mine on the 23rd Dec.

It's a Titanium X with sports pack and a few other options and I have to admit to being very very impressed with it.

The cabin's a great size and it's so quiet at speed, the handling pretty good for a family car (I think they stiffen the suspension on the sports pack) and I had the optional keyless entry/keyless start fitted which is very useful indeed.

There's a couple of faults with it (heated seats and heated washer jets don't work) but apart from that it's 'tip top'

I went for the Tonic Blue with privacy glass in the back (it's exactly the same colour/spec (apart from the engine size) as James Bond drove in Casino Royale) and it's looks fantastic, even when it's covered in salt and dirt off the damp winter roads.

So in conclusion I'm very very happy with it and I'd recommend an extended test drive if you are thinking of having one.
