cougar electric windows

Hi, Can anyone with ford knowledge help me out please

I have aquired my brothers 2001 ford cougar which has an electric window fault.

I vaguely remember doing a quick fix on this over a year ago let me explain:

Once upon a time, about a year ago the drivers window had gone all the way down, on one warm summers evening, my brother phoned me to explain "it wont go up"!! sounds like you need a blue pill was my initial response

Back then, racking my brains I remember stripping the drivers door card and testing connections etc and then swapping a relay must of been from the passenger side to get the window to go back up, now this is where it confuses me, can anyone confirm how many relays are on the cougars electic windows and there location? I cant remember if I stripped the passenger door card and then swapped the relay for the drivers or if there was two relays housed somewhere else that I swapped over, I think I probably swapped the relays from each door and then put the window up and then swapped the relay back and disconected the drivers switch until a new relay was bought. which my brother never bothered to buy and drove round with no drivers electric window for over a year, bet fast food drive-ins were a pain

so after that jackanory story I was wondering if a ford diamond geezer could tell me that yep theres just two relays one on each door or theres more relays under the dash etc.
