any advice on exhaust and bumper delete kit for Ford GT?
Discussion
I'm in the process of importing a new Ford GT from US. Does anyone have any advice on which aftermarket exhaust to go for ie Ford Racing, Accufab or Heffner? How do they differ? Would also like to combine this with a bumper delete kit. Looks like "Cooltech" in CA do a nice kit. Anyone got experience of fitting this with an aftermarket exhaust in the UK?
also any tips on what you can reasonably do in tuning the GT? ie is whipple supercharger a step to far?
any thoughts gratefully received.

A proper non back street SVA (I.E. from Roush) is around £5k. There's lots to change.
I've got the Accufab exhaust, which is great, but I think there're issues with bumper deletes with it. I'm not a fan of the bumper delete anyway, so I've got the Accufab. It's nicely made (better than the Stillern effort) and better than the Tubi (which again, might have bumper delete issues as well).
Do a pulley upgrade first. Pointless going the Whipple route before you've had the car a while.

very sensible advice I'm sure. I just figured it was worth filling the container shipping my car from US to UK with relatively cheap US parts compared to buying parts in UK then paying shipping.
Interesting to hear your views on the build quality of the exhausts. Have you ever seen the Ford Racing exhaust system?
thanks
