Living around essex very close to fords head office and dunton(research centre) you often see 'new' cars/test mules before anyone else, took my black lab for a walk today at alocal park and hey presto in the car park was a fully loaded kuga(ford motor co number plates),i had a good look round it ...looked vey nice and is sure to be a winner, has any one else seen one on the road and what did you think...?

Saw a black one with FoMoCo plates heading eastbound on The Highway last weekend, presumably heading back to Dunton. Also spotted a matt black new shape Fiesta with various bits of camouflage going up Dunton Lane last week. I should hang out near the entrance with a sniper lense!

A black one lives near me. I have to say I'm not usually into that sort of car, but it did look rather nice.

That'll be the one I spotted, it emerged from Wapping. I believe a senior Ford employee lives round there, maybe that'd explain it....

Out of interest how big was it? Ford describe it as a focus on stilts which really suits... and IMO any bigger than this starts to become an unsightly 4x4 which is also impossible to park. I like the sound of the kuga a lot and hope to tempt the wife into one of these rather than something Jap. more info here for other interested folk! http://www.ford.co.uk/kuga

I must say that I went into the local dealers to look at the S-Max yesterday, but came out clutching a Kuga brochure. Currently trawling the review & first drive websites to see what te consensus view is.

Spoke to the local franchise today. They aren't expecting a Kuga in as a demo before the middle of June now - with the official release being the end of June.

Maybe FoMoCo might have taken some notice of all of the reviews pointing out the wind noise from teh windscreen?

went and looked at one of these today, very smart! i was very impressed. no time for a tet drive, just wondered if anyone had driven one and could offer any real world view, opinions etc.

im looking to replace a top spec 55 plate honda accord tourer as a new company car. this kuga seems to tick most of the boxes!! smile
