How much is my st200 worth
84k s/s exhaust 18inch wheels etc

But its mis firing and a garage told me its burnt through a piston.. and as you cant get spare parts cheap and i cant be arsed to get it fixed. so just want to know how much is a realistic price?

With a fault like that (which you'll only really know what it'll cost when it's taken to bits) probably in the hundreds rather than thousands.

ST200 engines do appear from time to time - worth checking eBay, MEG and the STOC.

The UIM and ST200 specific parts still command decent money, so you should recoup some from the cash if you go the replacement engine route.

Depending how much your willing to spend Ford still supply these engines and they are cheaper than you might think. Got one last year for £1400 (i think that was + vat) which i thought was very cheap for that engine. One word of warning though after we had fitted said engine the customer bought it back and pointed out it was a normal 2500cc v6 not a st version, which turned out to be a mistake at the factory (sticker on engine said was st200 code on block said differant) but to be fair to Ford they took the car and fitted the correct engine foc.

ST200 specific bits are worth money...

UIM, airbox and all that sort of stuff.
Alternator and starter (these often go)
Recaro leather seats + door cards
Dash surround and gear knob
ST200 mats
RSAP kit
The climate control is worth something too if you can get all the wires / sensors out
Wheels
Suspension (ST200 specific!)


After that it's pretty much generic Mondeo parts - should still realise a few quid.

How much for the air filter assembly? My old Mk1 has all the ST200 stuff apart from that and i would like to make it look standard.Ta.

My old one which the wife has now, has clocked up 157k since I first took delivery in January 2000 and is still going strong.
